For this week's band sections of the week and Golden Axe awards, students competed in a game of Staff Wars. The sections in each class with the highest combined score won Section of the Week, and the highest score in each class signed our Golden Axe.

Middle School Winter Dance!

Earlier today, middle and high school students attended an assembly where students were rewarded for their hard work in both the 2nd 9 Weeks and the month of December. Certificates were awarded to all students who had academic success and earned either Principal's List for All A's or A-B Honor Roll. Teachers also nominated and voted on students in both middle and high school who have best exemplified what it means to be a Gueydan Bear, and each grade had a December Student of the Month.

The New Orleans Saints and Pelicans are hosting STEM Fest on Saturday, March 15th in New Orleans! The hands-on educational event will feature live performances, interactive demonstrations in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and Saints & Pelicans activities.
