
Congratulations to GHS Boys Powerlifters Traevin Billiot, Sydney Breaux, and Braylon Lopez, who represented GHS in the LHSAA State Championship yesterday in Kenner. They did an exceptional job! Senior Sydney Breaux had his inaugural showing into the 1000 lb. Club with his 1010 lb. Total!

Ms. Cynthia’s 6th Grade ELA have an exercise on Friday’s called “Free Write Friday!” Since in their current unit they have been learning about the Dust Bowl and reading the novel “Out of the Dust”, they listened to the song Dust in the Wind by Kansas making connections to the lyrics and their lessons.
