2023-2024 Kindergarten Registration
Below is Information about 2023-2024 upcoming Dozier Elementary Kindergarten registration.
This is ONLY for Kindergarten. We will share PreK Registration Information at a later date.
Kindergarten registration is Friday, March 17, 2023, from 8:15-Noon at Dozier Elementary. Registration will be held in the lobby of the gym.
***If your child is currently a PreK student at Dozier, a different enrollment will be sent home with your child. You do NOT attend this enrollment. March 17th enrollment is ONLY for students not currently enrolled at Dozier for the 2022-2023 school year. ***NOTE: Those currently enrolled at Dozier for PreK, but who are not zoned for Dozier Elementary, must register at their designated zoned school for kindergarten.

Reminder: Kindergarten enrollment is now mandatory in the state of Louisiana beginning in 22-23.
What is needed?
The legal guardian must be present with the following documents:
1) Original state certified birth certificate
2) Child’s social security card
3) Child’s immunization record
4) Custody papers, if applicable
5) Two forms of proof of domicile. Documents must show a physical address, not a post office box number.
• Current electric bill is required, in legal guardian’s name (If electric bill is in name other than legal guardian, then a Vermilion Parish School Board Affidavit verifying student residence must be completed. Affidavit forms are available in school office.)
•Water or gas bill
•Apartment or house lease receipt or documentation providing ownership
•Filed Homestead Exemption Application Form
•Placement by OCS
6) IEP, if applicable
NOTE: IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT ALL DOCUMENTS BE PRESENTED AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION!
