Shout out to our Principal Andrea Ford who was named the Vermilion Parish Elementary Principal of the Year! Superintendent Tommy Byler made the announcement on Friday, December 8, 2023.
Mrs. Ford worked at Eaton Park, and later served as Kaplan Elementary’s Assistant Principal and then Principal. In 2020, after the pandemic, she transferred to Dozier Elementary as Principal.
She is married to Brian Ford and has two sons, Grant and Graham. She is the daughter of former Vermilion Parish educator Mitzi (Dugas) Turner and Floyd Turner. She has two brothers, Marc and Matt.
