UP Leblanc

The motion to create Dozier Elementary in the RF school building and add needed rooms was made by Erath school board member from Ward 1, U.P. LeBlanc. Joe Kite was Superintendent at that time.

1978

A photo taken by Erath photographer Nodily Faulk of the Dozier Elementary campus in 1978, six after the school opened its doors. By then, six new classrooms, a library, and the Kindergarten Mall (3 rooms) had been added.

NewCaf

After a 25 year wait, a new cafeteria was built in 1997. The ribbon cutting event took place on November 6, 1997. Pictured are Father Wayne Duet, Pastor at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Assistant Superintendent, Cliff Alleman, School Board Member, Jay Comeaux, Superintendent, Dan Dartez, School Board Member Caroll “Bubba” Leblanc, Project Architect, Gene Sellers Jr. Vermilion Parish Nutrition Supervisor, Debbie Kite, Principal Teddy Broussard, and School Cafeteria Manager Gerri Dubois cutting the ribbon. 2003Campus
